Unfortunately, our experience at the rooftop bar was a little disappointing. The lady working there wasn’t very helpful or attentive, which took away from an otherwise pleasant stay."Reviewed November 6, 2026Roundtrip • New York (EWR) - Madrid (MAD)EWR - MAD • 1 stop MAD - EWR • 1 stop$1,452$1,063found 1 day agoper traveler
Casas del Monte Hotel Deals
"I stayed for business trip and the staff were very welcoming and helpful to me from when I arrived. My Spanish is not great but were always helpful to try and help or accommodate me. Breakfast was good and the evening buffet meals had variety of choice. Many of the guests clearly visit for the pool and spa facilities, as well as hiking trials and cycling routes in the area. I did not have time for this but had an enjoyable stay and would return due to the practical location and friendly staff."
"With the exception of an issue with breakfast (which should have been included FOC but we were charged for it at checkout; at the time of writing this is under investigation by Hotels.com), we could not fault the location, the property or its management. It is wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A very very minor point but there was no plugs for the kitchen sink - we did enquire but were told there weren't any."
"Walls you can hear neighbouring rooms; smelly drains; beds like bricks."

Albergue Turistico La Casa de Mi Abuela - Hostel"Roberto was excellent and were very happy at the hostel. The village is very pretty. Kitchen excellent. Very good value "
"Nice country side hotel for those that would like to be close to nature."
"We chose this hotel because of the onsite parking. It’s on the outskirts of the city and cost about 9€ in a taxi to get to the centre. It looks like a basic motel from the outside but the inside is lovely, nicely furnished. It’s clean, comfortable and the bathroom was modern. We enjoyed the breakfast, plenty of choice. The staff on reception were welcoming and helpful"
